Our Practice Areas

Our Immigration Law Services

We provide specialist advice and representation across all areas of UK immigration law. Whether your case is straightforward or complex, our advisers will guide you through every step.

Spouse & Family Visas

Reuniting families is at the heart of what we do. From spouse visas and fiancé visas to parent and child visas, we prepare family visa applications that meet every requirement of Appendix FM, including the financial threshold, relationship evidence, and English language requirements.

Settlement & Indefinite Leave to Remain

Applying for indefinite leave to remain is a significant milestone. We ensure your ILR application is complete, accurate, and supported by the right evidence, whether you are on the standard five-year route, the long residence route, or another qualifying pathway.

British Citizenship & Naturalisation

We guide clients through the naturalisation process from eligibility assessment through to the citizenship ceremony — covering the Life in the UK test, language requirements, good character considerations, and all documentation needed to secure a British passport.

EU Settlement Scheme

Many EU nationals still need specialist assistance — including late EUSS applications, pre-settled to settled status upgrades, and EUSS refusal challenges. We handle these cases with the focused expertise they require.

Visa Refusals & Immigration Appeals

A refusal is not the end of the road. Our advisers review refused applications, identify whether administrative review or First-tier Tribunal appeal is the right route, and represent clients through every stage of the challenge process.

Skilled Worker & Points-Based Visas

We advise both employees and employers on Skilled Worker visas, Health and Care Worker visas, Global Talent visas, sponsor licence applications, and all aspects of the UK's points-based immigration system.

Asylum & Human Rights

We provide compassionate, expert advice on asylum claims, humanitarian protection, and human rights immigration cases — including Article 8 representations and deportation defence.

Our Mission and Values

Immigration Advice Built on Values That Matter

Honest, expert, and human, every immigration case, every time.

Honesty Before Everything

We will never tell you what you want to hear if it is not true. If your application carries significant risk, we will explain that clearly and help you understand your options. Honest advice — even when it is not the answer you were hoping for — is the most valuable thing we can give you.

Expertise You Can Rely On

UK immigration law is complex, frequently changing, and high-stakes. Our advisers remain current with every relevant development — from changes to the Immigration Rules and new Home Office guidance to First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal decisions — so that the advice you receive is always grounded in the law as it stands today.

Transparency on Fees

Every instruction begins with a clear, written fee quote. We operate on fixed fees wherever possible, so you know exactly what you are paying and why — with no hidden extras and no surprises mid-case.

Accessibility for All

Immigration challenges do not discriminate by wealth or background. We are committed to providing high-quality advice at fees that reflect genuine value. We offer free initial consultations, flexible appointment times including evenings, and remote consultations for clients who cannot attend our East London office in person.

Why IAA Regulation Matters

Many people are unaware that providing immigration advice without authorisation is a criminal offence under Section 84 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999. Unregulated advisers  no matter how confident they appear  are operating illegally.

IAA regulation protects you in three critical ways:

  • Accountability regulated advisers are bound by a published Code of Standards and subject to disciplinary proceedings if those standards are breached
  • Competence IAA registration requires demonstrated knowledge of UK immigration law and ongoing professional development
  • Redress if something goes wrong, you have formal complaint routes through the IAA a protection that simply does not exist with an unregulated adviser
  • When you instruct ILA, you are working with advisers who are legally authorised, professionally accountable, and genuinely specialist in immigration law.

WHY CLIENTS CHOOSE US

Our Approach to Your Case

Every immigration case is different. A detail that seems minor to you may be legally significant. A complication that feels overwhelming may be straightforward to an experienced adviser. We take the time to understand your full immigration history, your circumstances, and your goals before we advise on anything.

Understand First

We ask the questions others skip. A thorough understanding of your situation at the start prevents costly mistakes, missed eligibility conditions, and application errors later in the process.

Plan Carefully

We map out the strongest possible route before we begin preparing anything. We identify risks, address them proactively, and ensure your application is as strong as it can be before it is submitted.

Prepare Thoroughly

Every application we submit is complete, evidence-rich, and clearly argued. We draft supporting letters that address the specific requirements of the Immigration Rules — not generic letters lifted from a template. Every document in your bundle is checked and cross-referenced before submission.

Support Throughout

We do not disappear after submission. We remain available to answer your questions, respond to Home Office requests for further information, and advise you at every stage until a final decision is reached.
